The push-button switch has a switching piece (1) which can snap through freely between two switching positions. This switching piece is operated directly by a plunger-like operating device (3) and a counterpiece which acts as a resetting spring. The switching piece (1) and the counterpiece (4) are constructed as leaf springs. The operating device has tabs (5) which engage over the switching piece on the side and, when the push-button is pushed, push the counterpiece so far away that the switching piece can snap through freely. <IMAGE>
