<p>In order to produce a pressure, the device comprises a piston (2) having a rectangular cross-section and arranged in a cylinder (1) of which the bore has also a rectangular shape. A cylindrical sleeve (3) is arranged inside the cylinder (1). Its edges adhere sealingly against two parallel and opposite surfaces (11, 12) of the cylinder bore. When a pressure fluid is supplied through the cylinder wall (9) inside the sleeve (3), the latter exerts a high pressure on the piston (2) outside the cylinder case.</p> |
