Image pick-up device

An image pick-up device is specified which has a combination of several colour filters which are arranged in front of an image scanning device. In front of at least some of the picture elements, colour filters for different colours are arranged. In a special illustrative embodiment, filters for a common colour are arranged at the boundary areas or edge areas of mutually adjoining picture elements.
