Method and device for the production of flexible hoses

The present invention relates to a method and a device for the production of flexible hoses by the helical winding of film strips which are reinforced by wire spirals and fixed along their edge regions. It is the object of the invention to provide a method and a device which make possible the economical production of non combustible hoses of this type. As regards the method, this is achieved by the fact that film strips manufactured from aluminium or aluminium alloys are fixed by means of ultrasonic welding. As regards the device, this is achieved by the fact that a sonotrode of an ultrasonic welding device forms the pressure and forming device and an anvil is formed as part of the device situated opposite the sonotrode on the respective other side of the hose.
