A unit with a stacker vehicle has a reflex mark on a stacking device. On the stacker vehicle, the load suspension means is arranged on the lift frame in such a way as to be horizontally displaceable at right angles to the stacking direction, and drive means are provided for such a displacement. In this arrangement, a measuring device is allocated to a scanning sensor on the load suspension means, which measuring device measures, in a manner determined by direction, deviations from the zero region to the reflex mark. A drive control means for the displacement of the load bearer with a comparison circuit for threshold values ensures that in each case a movement of the drive means for the load bearer, which movement is in the opposite direction to the greater deviation found, is controlled above the threshold value. <IMAGE>
