<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an equivalence test of a breaker based on a leading small current circuit while eliminating a charging equipment of a condenser by applying a recovery voltage and a DC voltage of a leading small current circuit to a sample breaker after the opening of an electrode of an auxiliary breaker. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary breaker 20 and a capacitor 21 are connected in series to the secondary side of a transformer 6 to form a leading small current circuit. A sample breaker 8 is connected in parallel to both terminals of the auxiliary breaker 20 through high resistances 7 and 9. With the closing of the auxiliary breaker 20 and the sample breaker 8, a voltage VG is fed to the capacitor 21. When a breaking operation is performed at the point P following several cycles after energization, current ic advances by pi/2 radian with respect to voltage and a VG and a residual charge VC of the capacitor 21 are applied to both terminals of the auxiliary breaker 20. Therefore, when the sample breaker 8 is opened in the electrode at the point A, an interpole voltage VT is applied whereby a testing can be performed without any charging equipment for the capacitor 21.</p> |
