The invention relates to a diaphragm pump, the diaphragm of which is operated by means of connecting rod drive. The connecting rod and the eccentric cam and/or the crank of the connecting rod drive are at the same time spring braced against one another in order to prevent the running noises which can be traced to play in the connecting rod bearing.
