A continuously working apparatus for the feeding of stowing material in underground mining, consisting of drop lines, conveyor belts, loading belts and blowing machines, has retaining and mixing spaces at one or more transitions, in which retaining and mixing spaces the stowing material is retained and at the same time mixed in order to achieve a continuous conveying process, so that in each case optimum material for conveying by compressed air is available at the blowing machine. Serving as a retaining and mixing space is in particular a cylindrical housing on whose inner wall a helical chute running at a steep angle is arranged. <IMAGE>
