PURPOSE:To obtain a detector compact and with a simple construction by enabling internal irradiation with light eliminating an incident window thereof while it is connected on the downstream of a radiation detector. CONSTITUTION:A pair of insulation supporting bodies 4 are arranged facing each other inside a container made up of a keep plate 1, a frame 2, a bottom plate 3 and the like and one or several electrode wires 5 are spread parallel across the supporting bodies 4. On the other hand, a counting gas introduction port 6 and a discharge port 7 are cut through the frame 2 and a counting gas of PR gas, Q gas or the like flows to the gas discharge port 7 from the gas introduction port 6. Instead of eliminating an incident window, a light source 8 such as light emitting element is set up on the bottom plate 3 to irradiate the inside of the container with light emitted from an external circuit signal. |
