The invention relates to a ball-game ground with a grass surface, especially for playgrounds and recreation grounds, having two mutually opposite end sides defining a playing area with attachment devices, firmly anchored in the ground, for basket ball posts, goals or the like. Experience has shown that, as a result of frequent use in the vicinity of goals or the like, the grass surface in that area is rapidly destroyed. The advantage of a grass pitch is then rapidly lost, or expensive maintenance or repair work has to be carried out. According to the invention, this disadvantage can be avoided in that at least two additional end sides are provided with attachment devices, so that, after switching over of the goals or the like, a new playing field crossing the previous one is created, the grass areas which were previously heavily worn now lying in a less frequented zone and having the opportunity to recover.
