PURPOSE:To enable an outboard engine to securely take various positions, by constituting an operating circuit of an absorber relief valve, a reservoir, the first relief valve, the second relief valve and the like. CONSTITUTION:In the case where the outboard engine 10 is held in its UP- position when steaming on the shallow waters or unloading or the engine is held in its DOWN-position when steaming ahead, an inner cylinder 20 is pressed to the side for compressing against an outer cylinder 18 under its own weight and a forward thrust. On the other hand, an oil contained in the first chamber 22 is sealed in the chamber 22. Therefore, the inner cylinder 20 can not be displaced in any way relatively to the outer cylinder 18, so that the outboard engine 10 can be held in the UP-position or the DOWN-position. Accordingly, by providing the operating circuit with the simple construction, the outboard engine 10 is enabled to securely take various positions required under various steaming conditions. |
