PURPOSE:To improve intake efficiency, by concurrently providing carburetors on a straight line along the direction of crankshafts to both decrease the total length of intake passages and arrange the passages almost on a straight line with less intake resistance. CONSTITUTION:Four carburetors 39 connected to a front cylinder 17 and rear cylinder 18 are arranged between the both cylinders 17, 18 on a straight line along the axial direction of crankshafts 29, 30. Accordingly, a hold angle between the both cylinders 17, 18 can be decreased and the overall length of an engine 15 can be reduced. The carburetors 39 and intake ports 36 of each cylinder 19, 20 are provided in an approximate position in the longitudinal relation, and the total length of intake passages 37a, 37b can be decreased. |
