PURPOSE:An endothermic liquid, consisting of a specific dispersion medium, dispersing agent and black material respectively, having improved heat absorption property and stability for a long term, and useful for hot water heaters and heat collectors by solar heat. CONSTITUTION:An endothermic liquid prepared by incorporating (A) a dispersion medium consisting of propylene glycol (or a mixture thereof with water) with (B) a dispersing agent consisting of caramel or a mixture thereof with polyvinylpyrrolidone and (C) a black material consisting of powdery activated carbon. Preferred incorporation ratios of the components are as follows: about 93pts.wt. or more component (A), about 0.5-10pts.wt. component (B) and about 0.01-2pts.wt. component (C). |
