PURPOSE:To perform a cheap and efficient contact of gas and liquid by dividing bottoms of plural reaction boxes filled with a filling material having liquid holdability and air permeability by partition plates into the chambers for chemical liquid of different concn. and by subjecting the gas to be treated to counter current contact of gas and liquid. CONSTITUTION:The plural reaction boxes 35a-35e having nets 33 at the both sides and filled with the filling material 32 having air permeability and liquid holdability are placed in series, and the interval between each reaction box is parted by the partition plates 16a-16d having through holes 17 to divide to the chambers 26a-26e for chamical liquid of different concn. The chemical liquid is drawn from the bottom of each chemical liquid chamber by a pipe 36, a pump 37 and is jetted from above through a pipe 38 and a jetting pipe 39. The gas to be treated is passed through successively from the box 35a to the box 35e. The reacted chemical liquid is discharged from the chamber 26a, the concentrated chemical liquid is fed to the chamber 26e and is transfered successively from the chamber 26e to the chamber 26a. The efficient contact of gas and liquid can be performed with cheap equipment cost and operation cost. |
