PURPOSE:To increase a horizontal supporting force and prevent a barge from being rolled due to waves or a tidal current, by a method wherein a pressing structure for a riprap layer is fitted to a support leg, and is lifted up and lowered along the support by a dirving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The pressing structure 14 for downwardly pressing the riprap layer 3 is fitted to the support leg 2 for the leveling riprap barge 1. The pressing structure 14 can be lifted and lowered along the support leg 2 by the driving mechanism 17 provided on the barge 1. The pressing structure 14 has a function of press banking, presses the riprap layer 3 therebeneath to apparently increase the depth of penetration of the support leg 2, thereby increasing the horizontal supporting force. Accordingly, the barge 1 can be prevented from being rolled due to waves or a tidal current, and riprap-casting and consolidating operations can be accurately performed. |
