PURPOSE:To form a color in high intensity in reduced energy, by using a fine granular dispersion of a hydrophobic basic substance with a particle size of 10mum or less as a color developer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive and heat sensitive layer is constituted on a support by a coupler compound such as diazo sulfonate or sodium 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonate, a fine granular dispersion of a hydrophobic basic substance with a particle size of 10mum or less and a binder material. As the hydrophobic substance shown by formulae (wherein R1, R2, R4 and R5 are hydrogen, 18 or less C alkyl, cyclic alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, amino, alkylamino or acrylamino), a specific hydrophobic guanidine derivative is preferred and, because this substance is reacted with light with a specific wavelength to decompose and deactivate a non-image area, a recording material becomes good in storage preservability. |
