PURPOSE:To improve shock resistance and to make a titled watch thin, by directly supporting an optical display part by a back cover of the wrist watch. CONSTITUTION:A titled wrist watch is provided with a sealing material 3 for sealing upper and lower substrates 1, 2, a liquid crystal substance 4 held between the substrate 1 and 2, polarizing plates 5, 6 stuck to the substrate 1 and 2, a case middle 7, a back cover 9, serving for a reflector of a display, as well, as IC chip 10 and a battery 11. also, deformation of a display part of the display whose substrate 1 and 2 ae constituted of plastic is prevented by directly supported by the back cover 9. Also, the chip 10, the battery, etc. are not provided on the lower side of the display part for holding the liquid crystal substance 4, to realize an extremely thin wrist watch. |
