<p>PURPOSE:To save a consumed power and to fuse resin by quick repetition, by supplying the charge of a capacitor for main discharge to a flash discharge lamp to make it emit a flash, and by stopping the emission of the flash forcibly in the course of the emission to make said capacitor hold the residual charge thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a method for fusing resin wherein the resin is fused to fix on paper by a flash from a flash discharge lamp, a timer circuit 10 is connected to a trigger circuit 8, and a control unit 100 is inserted between the flash discharge lamp 7 and the timer circuit 10. The charge of a capacitor 5 for main discharge is supplied to the flash discharge lamp 7 to make it emit a flash, the emission of the flash is stopped forcibly in the course of the emission, and thereby said capacitor 5 is made to hold the residual charge thereof. In this way, a method for fusing resin wherein a consumed power is saved or the repetition of operation is quickened can be obtained.</p> |
