PURPOSE:To scrape off deposits from the respective roller surfaces by a structure wherein a traversing frame to traverse rightward and leftward is provided at the lower part of the roller type disposer and scrapers mounted on the frame are brought into contact with the undersides of the rollers. CONSTITUTION:When a chain 11 is turned in a certain fixed direction by means of a driving device 13, a front and a rear screw rods 9 are also turned in a certain fixed direction and the traversing frame 16 is shifted from left to right facing to the disposer by means of the engagement of the rods 9 with female screws 17. When the frame 16 reaches the right end of the rods 9, a detector is put into actuation so as to reverse the rotation of the rods 9 by reversing the rotation of the driving device 13 and to shift the reversing frame 16 leftward. When the frame 16 reaches the left end of the rods 9, a detector provided at the left side of the disposer is put into actuation so as to put the driving device 15 in its former normal rotation in order to start to shift the traversing frame 16 rightward again. Owing to the structure as mentioned above, the scrapers 20 are shifted in the direction of the axis of the rollers 2 while being brought into contact with the underside surfaces of the rollers 2 and at the same time the rollers 2 are in rotation. Accordingly, the deposits are scraped off by the scrapers 20 from the peripheral surfaces of the rollers 2. |
