PURPOSE:To provide a small size heating device which has a reduced noise, by employing a combustion chamber consists of a noncombustible panel having a large number of pores and a sound absorbing heat insulating material attached to the outer periphery of the panel. CONSTITUTION:In a body 1 of a fluid heating device, a combustion chamber 4 is formed of a noncombustible panel 3 having a large number of pores 2 or of a wire net, and a sound absorbing thermal insulating material 5 is attached along the outer peripheral surface thereof. In the fluid heating device so constituted, a thermal energy is produced through the production of flame by means of a burner 8 installed in the combustion chamber 4, a loud noise is produced by combustion and suction and exhaust air current, but the installation of the sound absorbing thermal insulating material to the panel having pores or a wire net permits damping of an energy of noise propagating to the outside of the combustion chamber. |
