PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality picture without deviation, in the recording device, having a plurality of recording means such as a color ink jet printer, by electronically controlling a delay amount to the recording means based on the detection of the relative position deviation of the recorded picture and the detected result. CONSTITUTION:The relative position deviation between heads is detected by a standard pattern and sensors. In a picture recording control circuit, the first picture signal, which is a reference for the correction of the relative position deviation, is guided to a first delay part 31 and supplied to the cascade connection of three shift registers 35-1-3, and the reference amount of delay is imparted. The second picture signal is guided to a second delay part 32 and supplied to the cascade connection of shift registers 36-1-6, whose number is twice the number of the registers in the reference first delay part 31, and the shift amount in + or -3 units can be imparted to the reference signal. By selecting the shift amount corresponding to the position deviation signal, the position deviation is corrected. |
