The invention relates to a device for feeding air into the combustion chamber of a combustion furnace comprising an elongate bar (10), which is provided with a fireproof protective lining (12) and has two ends and through the interior of which at least one air distribution pipe (19, 20) extends. Air outlets (17, 18) communicatively connected to the at least one air distribution pipe (19, 20) are arranged along the bar (10). The bar (10) has air-conducting means, which are arranged in an upper region of the bar (10) at least in the vicinity of the two ends of the bar in order to produce air curtains that sweep downward over one surface region (25) of the bar (10) each. Deposition of slag and/or fly ash on the bar is prevented by means of these air curtains. |
