PURPOSE:To transmit the information on correction of exposure display correctly, by providing a means for converting the photographing information on an interchangeable lens side to plural pieces of information to a transmission means and including the signal which is corrected according to the variable power ratio of the focal length that an intermediate lens barrel possesses or to the decrease in the effective aperture ratio in one of plural pieces of the information. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to an automatic focus detector consisting of a circuit 20 which compares and detects the deviation of an image to focusing by receving the light reflected from an object 10 in an interchangeable lens, forming the image thereof on an image plane 14, reflecting the object light on reflecting mirrors 16a, 16b and inputting the same to image sensors 18a, 18b. When an intermediate lens barrel is mounted between the interchangeable lens and a camera, the effective aperture ratio changes and the incident luminous flux narrows; therefore, in the case of performing automatic detection of focusing by mounting the intermediate lens barrel, the information on the correction for the decrease in the effective aperture ratio or the aperture ratio on the interchangeable lens side that results from mounting of the interchangeable lens barrel is inputted to the automatic focusing detector so that the positions of the luminous fluxes to be received by the mirrors 16a, 16b are corrected. |
