PURPOSE:To facilitate the rearrangement of recording paper, by providing a conveyor belt rotated along with a recording paper holder and conveying wasteful paper to a wasteful paper accommodating tray to the lower end of a recording paper discharge means to automatically sort the wasteful paper and receiving paper. CONSTITUTION:When a drive roller 2 is driven by a motor 15 and printing due to a recording head 1 is initiated, a recording paper holder 5 is rotated to a counterclockwise direction while a wasteful paper conveyor belt 8 is run to a direction shown by an arrow with the rotation of said holder 5. At first, when wasteful paper cut to a predetermined length (a) by a cutter 3 is discharged by discharge rollers 16, 17, it is fallen onto the conveyor belt 8 provided to the underside of a receiving paper accommodating tray 18 before reaches said tray 18 to be discharged into a wasteful paper accommodating tray 19. When the receiving paper is cut and discharged by the discharge rollers 16, 17, because the length of the receiving paper is usually sufficiently longer than that of the wasteful paper, the leading end thereof is directly ridden on the receiving paper accommodating tray 18 to accommodate said receiving paper in the tray rear part. |
