The bicycle has a frame made in two parts, with the joints connecting the two parts formed in the tubes (1,2) which connect the front fork (3) to the saddle tube (4). The lower tube (1) has an upper part (8) with a round bar projecting from its end. The bar fits into a socket formed in a lower part (7) and is secured with a transverse bolt. The upper tube (2) has a round bar projecting from the end of each part (21,22). Part of the end of each bar is removed to form a flat diametral surface. The flat surfaces of each part abut against each other and are also secured by a transverse bolt.
