PROCESSING SYSTEM WITH OPERATION CONTROL FUNCTION FOR ROBOT AND MACHINE TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system capable of effectively securing safety of an operator without adding a new sensor or wiring to a machine tool.SOLUTION: A processing system comprises: a machine tool which is controlled by a numerical control device; a robot which is controlled by a robot control device and performs processing work; and an operator detection device which detects whether or not an operator exists in a dangerous region in the processing system. The robot control device has: operation decision means which decides operational restriction of the machine tool on the basis of a detection result of the operator detection device; and notification means which notifies the numerical control device of the operational restriction decided by the operation decision means. The numerical control device restricts operation of the machine tool in accordance with the notified operational restriction. The processing system enables a robot to decide a level of the operational restriction of the machine tool and thereby effectively securing safety of the operator without adding a new sensor and wiring to the machine tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
