A velour knit was manufd. without using of terry or loop pile. The velour pole was formed by scrubbing the surface of velour with sand paper. The knitting condition should be satisfied to the formula 1 and 2, where G is gauge of three quarter knitting, Cis course of three quarter knitting, H is pile height of made velour, is shrinkage ratio in weft length by dyeing, and is shrinkage ratio in warp length by dyeing.
