PURPOSE:To obtain a composite body consisting of coloring matter and a double-layered film made of a specified substance with a gel phase-liq. crystal phase transition temp. and having spectral characteristics which can be controlled in accordance with temp. CONSTITUTION:The coloring matter to be used is selected from various coloring matters, dyes, absorbers, etc. each showing absorption in the ultraviolet, visible or infrared region such as cyanine coloring matter and methyl orange. The double-layered film is made of phospholipid, a double-chain surfactant having long-chain alkyl, a single-chain surfactant contg. a rigid moiety, or the like, and the film is required to have a gel phase-liq. crystal phase transition temp. The preferred substance forming the double-layered film is a compound represented by general formula I (where (n) is an integer of 2-10, and X is Cl or Br). The steric configuration of a glutamyl residue in the compound is any of L type, DL type and D type, and p-(4-trimethylammonium-ethyloxy)benzoyl(alpha,gamma-n-dodecyl)-L (or DL or D)-glutamate chloride (or bromide) is preferably used as the compound. |
