An extruded tube is blow moulded in the cavity of a tool. Beneath the machine nozzle there is a tool having a smaller cross-sectional area than the tube. This receives the tube before the tool closes. It also permits the introduction of pressurised air after the tool is closed. The air presses the tube against the cavity walls. The tool is bent in correspond to the shape of the tube before the tool does. |
