PHOTOCOMPOSER A photocomposer 20 includes a fixed rearwardly inclined backboard 25 for supporting a sensitized lithographic plate 99. To substantially reduce the weight of the backboard 25 and its supporting structure, the main portion of the backboard is of cellular construction 35. Depressible register pins 52 for positioning the lithographic plate 99 are mounted on the backboard 25. Each pin 52 is part of an assembly 50 constructed to readily permit transverse adjustment of the pins 52.
