PURPOSE:To increase the lifetime of a motor apparatus by providing terminals at both ends of a plurality of stator coils, and providing a switching device which switches switching between the line sides of the coils and a neutral point side and switch a set of phase connecting lines. CONSTITUTION:Terminals 20, 21 are provided at both ends of a plurality, e.g., 3-phase stator coils 3 which are dipped in water, and 6 lead wirings 2 led from the terminals 20, 21 of the coils 3 of respective phases are, for example, connected to an apparatus which, for example, has 4 3-phase contactor group. Contactors 31, 32 are closed, while contactors 33, 34 are opened, neutral point sides 11 are respectively connected, the contactors 31, 32 are opened and the contactors 33, 34 are closed by a controller 6, thereby switching between the line side 10 of the coil 3 and the neutral point 11 side, and a set of phases are exchanged so as to maintain the rotating direction of a motor in a constant direction. In this manner, the line side that the applied voltage is high with short lifetime is switched, thereby increasing the lifetime of the entire motor. |
