PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of a rotational shaft by providing a slip ring outside a rear bearing, and arranging front and rear bearings at both sides immediately near from a field core, thereby reducing the distance between the bearings. CONSTITUTION:A field core 4 which has a field coil 10 is fixed to a rotational shaft 1 which is driven by an engine, and the shaft 1 is supported by front and rear bearings 3, 17 at both sides of the core 4. A stator core 11, on which a stator coil 8 is wound, is arranged around the core 4. Front and rear cooling fans 5, 30 are respectively provided adjacent to the bearins 3, 17 at both sides of the core 4. A slip ring 20 is provided on the rear shaft 1 of the bearing 17. A brush 19 which slidably contacts the ring 20 is held by a brush holder 18. |
