PURPOSE:To subject a minute amount of a sample to be measured to accurate absorbancy analysis, by providing a dispersing element for separating light from a light source into its monochromatic light components, a photodiode array receiving monochromatic components separated by the dispersing element and subjecting the same to light-electricity conversion and a cell arranged in front of the light receiving surface of the photodiode and accommodating the sample to be measured. CONSTITUTION:A spectroscopic analysis apparatus is constituted from such a mechanism that a distribution cell 3 with a rectangular cross area for distributing a sample liquid to be measured is arranged in front of the light receiving surface of the light receiving element 7 of a photodiode array 6 and light from a light source 1 is separated into its spectral components by a dispersing element, for example, a diffraction grating 4 through an incident slit 3 while each separated monochromatic light is irradiated to the distribution cell 5 to measure each light passing the distribution cell 5 by each light receiving element 7 in the photodiode 6. As the photodiode array 6, a usual dual impinge type one is used. By this apparatus, stray light is prevented to carry out accurate spectroscopic analysis. |
