PURPOSE:To enable automation of a series of works by setting a die to a bolster from a state that a clamp body is shunted to the side, lowering the clamp body after oscillating it to place it to the side of the die, engaging the clamp body with a projection for engaging, and clamping by pulling wedge members downward. CONSTITUTION:The clamping device of a press die is made up of a clamp body extended at a distance from a die D positioned in a bolster B and freely movable in the direction of extension, a center of rotation 2 having tooth 3 formed on the outer periphery and made movable vertically and rotatable, a fluid pressure cylinder 4 basal end of which is connected to the center of rotation and moves the clamp body 1 in the direction of extension, a rotation driving source 5 that rotates the center of rotation 2, plural wedge members inserted between the side of the die D and clamp body 1 and a fitting and detaching mechanism 7 that puts in and out it vertically. |
