PURPOSE:To obtain a covering layer having an uniformly thick silicone elastomer layer by designating the peeling resistance of the coated surface of a coated paper to the silicone elastomer to a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A liquid thermosetting silicone elastomer of addition reaction type is uniformly coated on the surface of a glassine paper coated with triacetyl cellulose by a reverse roll coating method. Then, a cloth, e.g., nylon tufter, etc., is laid on them and the silicone elastomer is hardened by heating by means of a hot air circulation type oven, etc. Afterwards, the silicone elastomer covering cloth is peeled off from the coated paper to obtain an objective covering cloth. In this case, the peeling resistance to the hardened silicone elastomer of the coated surface of the coated paper is designated to 50g/cm or less under the conditions of a peeling rate of 5m/min and a peeling angle of 180 deg.. |
