An arrangement for locking a tank or similar load on a transport vehicle is provided on the one hand with two gripping claws or similar clamping devices 7 which can be displaced towards and away from one another between an outer position and an inner position by means of a preferably pneumatically pressure-medium-driven motor 11 and are intended in their inner position to bear against two mutually opposite side surfaces or end walls 2 of the load and thus to retain the latter on the vehicle, and on the other hand with a mechanical arresting and locking arrangement 10, 20, 21 which, in the inner position of the clamping devices, prevents unintentional separation of these by pressure on the clamping devices caused by the load or otherwise. The mechanical arresting and locking arrangement consists of a bolt and a stop heel 20 interacting therewith, which are held in engagement with one another by means of a spring 21 but can be separated from one another by means of inclined sliding surfaces or guide surfaces 17, 17a which are acted on by the motor and interact with one another. <IMAGE> |
