PURPOSE:To obtain the secure contact of book slips with a reference plane by bending sheet guides to move book slips as keeping book slips in contact with the reference plane provided on one side of the sheet guides for separating from the reference plane. CONSTITUTION:Book slips 2 are conveyed between upper and lower sheet guides 14 and 15 by conveying rollers 16. Since sheet guides 14 and 15 are set to bend to separate from a reference plane 13, book slips 2 are given forces shown by arrows A and B. Meanwhile, as the book slips 2 are conveyed between rollers 16a and 16b, they cannot be moved in the direction of the arrow B, but moved in the direction of the arrow A. Book slips 2 are directed toward the reference plane 13 to be conveyed, and securely brought in touch with a surface 13a of the reference plane 13. |
