<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the durability and adhesive strength, by using a binder contg. 20-60% polyurethane resin, 20-60% epoxy resin, 15-55% vinyl chloride- vinyl acetate copolymer resin, and polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic recording medium is obtd. by coating a magnetic coating on a support. A binder in the magnetic coating contains 3 kinds of resins within the oblique line region of the diagram. When the percentage of polyurethane resin is <20%, the adhesive strength and the surface properties of the coated film are deteriorated, and in case of >60% polyurethane resin, the coefft. of friction is increased, causing the generation of creak. In case of <20% epoxy resin, the bonding strength of the coated magnetic film is reduced, and >60% epoxy resin deteriorates the dispersibility and the magnetic characteristics. In case of <15% vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, the coefft. of friction is increased, and >55% of the resin improves the durability but reduces the adhesive strength.</p> |
