PURPOSE:To obtain a vulcanizing tube capable of producing good-quality vulcanized products without causing abnormal temperature rise in a cross head by using a system in which mutually incompatible two liquid layers of different specific gravities are housed in the vulcanizing tube and the temperature of the liquid layer in contact with the cross head is controlled. CONSTITUTION:An interface 13 is formed between two liquid layers 6 and 7 of different specific gravities, and the temperature of the liquid layer 7 is controlled by a circulation circuit 12 through a temperature controller 8. A conductor 1 is covered with a cross head 3 and introduced into the liquid layer 7 for early- period vulcanization and then passed through the liquid layer 6 as a heating medium for vulcanization to a sufficient extent. Then, the vulcanized product is passed through a cooling zone provided in the end tube of the vulcanizing tube 5 and rolled up by a winder. |
