PURPOSE:To improve the gasification efficiency, thermal efficiency, and the combustion efficiency by mixing pulverized coal, a little amount of water, and foam stabilizer, and feeding the slurry having a high coal-concentration which is compressed by blasting gas, into a gas producing furnace. CONSTITUTION:Pulverized coal, water, and foam stabilizer are sufficiently mixed in the gas environment in a mixer 1, and the high-concentration slurry which has a coal-concentration of 65-95wt% and contains foams is prepared. Said slurry is set into the vessels 4a and 4b which endure pressurization, and the pressurized gas for allowing the slurry to contain foams necessary for fluidization of slurry is blasted into through high-pressure gas feeding pipes 8a and 8b, with stirring by agitators 5a and 5b, and the slurry is compressed. The foam containing slurry is adjusted so that the rate of the capacity occupied by foams in the slurry becomes equal to the value to stabilize the slurry, and then the foam containing slurry in high pressure and in high concentration is supplied into a gas producing furnace 12, blast furnace, combustion furnace, slurry transport line etc. |
