PURPOSE:To make the frequency characteristic flat, by forming a slope part having an inclination angle <90 deg. in the lower part of the front of one core half body and arranging the core half body at a proper angle and polishing this core half body so that it crosses the slope of the other core half body to form a tape sliding face. CONSTITUTION:A slope having an inclination angle <90 deg. is formed on the front of a core half body 1A. The core half body 1A is arranged at an angle alpha and is matched to the other core half body 1B. The core half body 1A is polished on the same plane X as a tape sliding face 3 of the core half body 1B to form a tape sliding face 3'. Then, on the tape sliding face 3' of the half body 1A, a polished section 7 is formed in positions l1 and l2 of the upper face of the core half body 1A. Thus, the man-hour for polishing of the core half body 1A is reduced, and the contour characteristic is dispersed to eliminate the ruggedness in a specific frequency. |
