PURPOSE:To count up the required number of samples without errors, by adding and counting samples less than the maximum permissible number of samples to be added which are enabled to be counted without errors with the prescribed probability succesively specified in accordance with the coefficient of variation of the weight of the samples. CONSTITUTION:When the prescribed number, five e.g., of samples are put on an electronic balance 1 and a reference memory key 3 is depressed, the average weight of the samples is calculated and stored in an RAM. The 1st display part displays the number 5 and the 2nd display part displays the maximum permissible number, 16 e.g., of samples to be added previously stored in an ROM. On the basis of said displays, the number of samples less than 16, e.g. 15 samples, are put on the balance 1 and the same operation is repeated. Subsequently, 29 samples corresponding to 20 are measured. When the number of added samples exceeds a prescribed number and approaches the maximum permissible number of samples to be added, an alarm display part 5 informs the approach of the maximum number to be added by turning on the 1st alarm lamp, and when the maximum number to be added is exceeded, alarm the overweighted status by turning on the 2nd alarm lamp. Consequently, the average value is prevented from being compensated by the incorrect number of samples. |
