PURPOSE:To eliminate the phase shift of a signal, by detecting the level and the peak of the signal after the detected signal passes through a differentiating circuit and sampling the level detection output by the peak detection output. CONSTITUTION:After the output of a photodetector is differentiated in the differentiating circuit, the peak and the level of the differentiated signal are detected by a peak detector and a level detector. The output of the level detector is sampled by the output of the peak detector, thereby obtaining a signal corresponding to pits on an optical disc without a phase shift. |
