PURPOSE:To detect a minute angle by detecting the angle of inclination in accordance the shifted extent of an optical output corresponding to the angle of inclination of a dielectric multilayered filter arranged in an optical fiber transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Collimator lenses 4, 4' are opposed to the light projecting terminal and light incident terminal of optical fibers 3, 3' as one united body so that the optical fiber transmission line 5 is made horizontal. The dielectric multilayered filter 2 fitted to an object 1 of which inclined angle is to be measured is arranged in the transmission line 5. Light projected from an optical fiber 3 passes through the filter 2, and after being converged by the collimator lens 4', the converged light is made incident to the optical fiber 3' and outputted from the other terminal. If the multilayered filter 2 is inclined together with the object 1, the characteristics of the wavelength of the dielectric filter film is shifted in accordance with the inclined angle and the change of optical power due to the shifted characteristics can be detected at the output terminal of the optical fiber 3', so that the angle of inclination of the object 1 can be measured from the shifted extent. |
