PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molded product being uniform and free from an internal crack defect and a flow pattern, by adding a special nylon powder when polymerizing an anhydrous omega-lactam in the presence of an anionic polymerization catalyst and a co-catalyst. CONSTITUTION:To 100pts.wt. of (A) an anhydrous omega-lactam (a epsilon-caprolactam, etc. is suitable) 0.01-1pt.wt. of (B) a nylon powder having a particle size below than 400mum and a melting point above 200 deg.C is added in a reacting system and a component (A) is polymerized at the temperature above m.p. of the component (A) and below m.p. of a resulted polyamide in the presence of (C) an anionic polymerization catalyst (e.g., an alkali metal) and (D) a co-catalyst (e.g., an N- acryl lactam), thereby obtaining the purpose molded product. A polymerization is preferably done at 130-180 deg.C and also in the state where a moisture and an oxygen are excluded. |
