PURPOSE:To permit even solid substance such as earth, sand, mud etc. to be easily sucked-up without giving any influence onto a pump by taking the objective sucked substance into a tank without passing said substance through the pump body and sucking-up and pushing-out said substance by means of jet. CONSTITUTION:Jet pumps 8 and 14 are installed onto the upper and the lower parts of a tank body 1, having the suction side opened into the body 1 through piping, and one edge of a suction introducing pipe 5 is introduced into the body 1 and opened, and the feeding sides of the pumps 8 and 14 are connected to the high-pressure fluid feeding sources 7 and 7' through piping. Since the objective sucked substance is tken into the tank without passing said substance through the pump body, and said substance is sucked-up and pushed-out by the jet, even the solid substance such as earth, sand, mud etc. can be sucked-up easily without giving any influence onto the pump, and the pumping efficiency can be improved markedly. |
