PURPOSE:To obtain stable holding power in no relation to the thickness of a car body panel in a welt body side mounted to an opening edge or the like of a vehicle panel, by protrusively providing both a lip to an oppositely facing position in the inside of a U-sectional main unit and plural stripes to an oppositely facing side of the lip. CONSTITUTION:Lips 12 formed to a smaller thickness toward the point end are protrusively provided integrally in an oppositely facing position of an internal face of a U-shapd sectional welt main unit 11 consisting of an elastic member of synthetic resin or the like. Then each lip 12 is tilted toward a bottom part of the unit 11 and its point end is made to approach. While plural stripes of protrusions 13 are integrally provided to an oppositely facing side of each lip 12 and their point ends are sharpened at a certain angle. Now if the welt body side 11 is fitted to a connection part of each outer and inner panel 4, 5 of a car body panel 3, the point end part of each lip 12 holds this connection part. As a result, the welt body side 11 is held by elastic holding force of the lip 12. |
