SUSPENSION BUSHING CONSTRUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To facilitate production of a bushing by fixedly bonding inner and outer tubular members with an annular elastic member to constitute a bushing simplex and press fitting an outside fitting on the outer periphery of the simplex for constituting a bushing. CONSTITUTION:A bush is provided with an inner tubular fitting 12 into which is inserted pivots supported by a pair of brackets fixed to a car body or the like, and constitutes a bushing simplex 10 from a cylindrical metal body 16 disposed outside the fitting 12 through a rubber sleeve 14. Also, an arm eye 20 fixed to an end of a suspension arm 18 is forced into said cylindrical body 16, and a pocket portion 24 between recesses 22 of the eye 20 and the rubber sleeve 14 is filled with non-comressive fluid 26. And said bushing simplex 10 is produced by vulcanizing and forming such that the inner tubular fitting 12 and the cylindrical body 16 are set in a predetermined metal mold to cut out the recess portions 22.
