The present invention relates to a communication apparatus for measuring a quality of a communication, a communication quality measurement server and a method for controlling the same. According to the present invention, a method for controlling a communication terminal comprises: a step of determining the number of peripheral wireless access devices using a channel equal to a currently used communication channel; a step of determining the number of peripheral wireless access devices using an adjacent channel in a preset range from the currently used communication channel; a step of applying a preset weight value to each of the determined numbers to calculate a wireless strength instability determination grade; and a step of generating a communication quality measurement request message when the calculated wireless strength instability determination grade excesses a preset value, and transmitting the message to a communication quality measurement server. According to the present invention, selective measurement of communication quality can be performed.
