PURPOSE:To prevent a boring head from vibrating and to improve cutting efficiency by a method wherein two tools are provided oppositely at the end of a boring bar and loads on the tools are distributed by 6:4-7:3. CONSTITUTION:Work M is revolved by a head stock 1, and a boring head installed at the top of a boring bar 3 is revolved on the inside of the work M to cut the inside. The boring head 4 has two tools 40A, 40B and guides 41A-41D at the opposite positions in the diametrical direction. When the load distribution of the two tools 40A, 40B is given by 6:4-7:3, the load on the head 4 is deviated and vibration is prevented. |
